The Wedding of Grace and Andy - August 2023

Held at The Barns at Hunsbury Hill, Northamptonshire, Grace and Andy wanted their barn wedding to be bright, cheerful and colourful to reflect their summer wedding. To achieve this, we used colourful statement, seasonal flowers such as Dahlias, Cosmos and Garden Roses. As with all of my wedding flowers, I sourced British grown flowers from a local Northamptonshire flower farm, Field Gate Flowers.

The finer details

To keep within the clients budget, we repurposed their aisle flowers as table centre pieces. This is something that I strongly recommend to all of my wedding couples. Why only enjoy the flowers that are only going to be part of your ceremony for a short space of time! Most wedding venues are happy to move arrangements around to suit your special day.

To continue the floral theme throughout the decor of their wedding, I created hand pressed flower table signage in collaboration with a local calligrapher, Blue Bell Lettering. I pressed flowers used within their wedding florals to match throughout. The place cards were a pleasant surprise for guests, and were taken home as cute favours (this wasn’t the intention, but the guests loved them!)
